Tourism Ireland is seeking applications from content producers for high quality international programming featuring the Island of Ireland for its recently announced Advertising Programming Fund. This unique initiative aims to support a limited number of projects as part of Tourism Ireland’s stimulus measures to promote the island of Ireland abroad.
Up to â¬ 250,000 per project will be available through a competitive selection process for commercially viable original and innovative projects that have gained international market support and that best meet one (or more) of the key objectives of the project. Ireland’s profiling agency:
- Breathtaking landscapes
- Rich heritage and living culture
- Food and drink
- Sweet adventure
Original, destination-oriented factual programming (including documentaries, factual entertainment, cultural and specialist facts) are likely to appeal the most (and to be prioritized), although other submissions are welcome. More detailed information can be found in the Tourism Ireland guidelines.
This fund is available for projects that can potentially be completed by December 2021. All productions must be produced in accordance with government guidelines for COVID-19 health and safety in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, on where applicable, and meet government standards. approved production protocols.
