Romanian industrial production increases a month in July



Romania’s industrial production rose in July, driven by an increase in production in the manufacturing and electricity sectors, data from the Bucharest-based National Institute of Statistics (INS) showed on Wednesday.

Industrial production rose 0.3% month on month, seasonally and working day adjusted, in July.

Manufacturing output rose 1.3% month-on-month in July, and output from the electricity sector was also the same.

On an annual basis, industrial production fell 0.8% on working days in July.

On an unadjusted basis, industrial production fell 3.1% per year and 1.9% per month in July.
