Thiago Abreu, project manager, Globo TV

Graduate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering at UERJ, post-graduate in Networks and Video over IP at UFRJ, holder of an Executive MBA at COPPEAD and additional training in Responsible Management at Audencia (Nantes, FR) . He has over 16 years in the TV and media and entertainment industry, helping to develop competitive differentials for Globo and collaborating with M&E Ecosystem for industry acceleration. Thiago has devoted his career to the implementation of projects that bring technological innovations for the entire audiovisual media value chain, and he has developed a solid experience in project management, the development of high potential people and a well-rounded expertise on creating business value through people. , technology and process.

Orestis Varese

Orestis Varesis, Product Manager, Seervision

Orestis has been a product manager at Seervision for two years. His goal is to drive product strategy and ensure that Seervision’s product development remains focused on the needs of their users.

Orestis has been part of the Seervision team since 2017, when he joined as a robotic engineering intern while completing his master’s degree at ETH Zurich. Originally from Greece, Orestis moved to Switzerland in 2016 to study, basing his thesis on the development of unique algorithms to autonomously film and track moving subjects with a film cart.

With a background in electrical engineering and a focus on robotics and control, Orestis’ decision to focus on autonomous filming brought him straight to Seervision. His expertise has made him invaluable in gathering and aggregating end customer and partner information and turning it into functionality within the Seervision suite. His work helps define and execute the product roadmap and overall product direction at Seervision.


Will Waters, Head of Product Management for NewTek, part of the Vizrt Group

Will Waters has extensive experience designing AV and broadcast workflows with hands-on implementation. During his tenure at NewTek, Waters led the creation of a sales organization in the EMEA region and oversaw the launch and delivery of numerous NewTek video solutions, including NDI®. Most recently, as VP of Customer Success for NewTek, Waters was responsible for designing and implementing extensive NDI-based workflows. Waters is an industry-recognized expert in networking, configuring and implementing software-based IP, media transport and live video production solutions. As Head of Product Management, Waters works in the R&D division of the Vizrt Group and leads the plans and execution of product strategy.

Waters has held senior sales and support engineering positions at NewTek. Prior to joining NewTek, he was a systems designer and integrator, designing large-scale production video systems and streaming solutions.
