As the central event of the Festival of Emerging Writers, the National Writers Conference aims to inform and inspire writers of all genres and styles. Hear top industry tips from our distinguished ambassadors and dive into conversations about how to start a publication, the role of literary criticism, the art of the interview and more.
Following its digital success in 2020 and 2021, the 2022 National Writers Conference will return one-day online: ticket holders can watch and participate in real-time, and re-watch sessions on demand once the conference is over.
Plus, book a Pitch It! Session for a unique opportunity to pitch your manuscript to an editor or publisher. You only have 5 minutes, so be brief and remember to leave room for questions! These editors, editors, and literary agents are there to support emerging writers, so give it a try.
With the festival ambassadors: Yassmin Abdel-Magied, Jennifer Down, Jamie Marina Lau and Jeanine Leane.
Early bird rate: $80 full price / $60 off. Early bird tickets are strictly limited.
The full program for the National Writers Conference will be released on Tuesday, May 10.
