Latvia’s industrial production fell in February, led by a drop in output in the electricity and gas sector, data from the Riga-based Central Bureau of Statistics (CSB) showed on Monday.
Industrial production fell 0.6% year-on-year in February.
Manufacturing output rose 2.5% year-on-year in February, but fell 2.1% from the previous month.
Production in mines and quarries increased by 15.2% per year, while production in electricity and gas supply fell by 19.9%.
On a monthly basis, industrial production fell by 2.5% seasonally adjusted in February.
