We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Senior Production Controller working in the Faber Plant team to manage, develop, review and standardize Faber Print Services procedures.
The role will be to work for all publishers supported by our print services with a close link to the Faber production team. This newly created role is perfect for an experienced production person with an entrepreneurial spark and excellent customer service skills. The role encompasses the following responsibilities:
Helping publishers deliver their titles to the front line on time, on budget and to required standards.
Some audiobook productions.
Liaise with external suppliers.
Proactive extension of service.
Stay in close contact with the Faber Production department.
Prepare costings and print orders and issue invoices.
File verification and advice on all aspects of print production.
We are looking for a highly organized yet flexible individual with the ability to prioritize their workload, generous with their knowledge, literate and a team player who is passionate about the practical and logistical aspects of publishing who cares about the success of the business and the well-being of their colleagues.
The role is full time on a 1 year fixed term contract and reports to the Production Manager.
The salary is £28,000 to £31,000 depending on skills and experience.
